Anti-Dive/Lift/Squat

Start / Calculations / Suspension Calculations / Anti-Dive/Lift/Squat

The Anti-Dive/Lift/Squat page determines the your suspension's anti-dive, anti-lift, and anti-squat percentages based on these inputs:

Front Instant Center X position

Front Instant Center Y position

Front tire diameter

Rear Instant Center X position

Rear Instant Center Y position

Rear tire diameter

Front braking proportion - for Anti-Dive and Anti-Lift calculations (not used for anti-squat)

Wheelbase

CG height

The anti-dive, anti-lift, and anti-squat values are technically defined as the horizontal to vertical force coupling between sprung and unsprung mass of the vehicle.

All horizontal (x) dimensions are measured from the centerline of the axle toward the other axle. All vertical (y) dimensions are entered in distance from ground level.
