Compressor Maps

The compressor maps page allows you to manage your list of compressor maps. These are used with the compressor map calculation.

To add a new map, touch the plus sign at the top of the screen or pick Add from the menu.

To edit an existing map, touch it to select it, and then touch the pencil icon at the top of the screen or pick Edit from the menu.

To delete a map, touch it to select it, and then touch the trash can at the top of the screen or pick Delete from the menu.

The Add and Edit commands take you to the compressor map details page, which contains:

Name – the title to show in the list of maps
URL – the web address of the compressor map image
Margins – The number of pixels from the edge of the image to the edge of the actual map. As you adjust the margins, the red square on the map image shows the margins. The left margin should be at the flow rate of 0. The right margin should be at the maximum flow value. The bottom margin should be at the pressure ratio of 1. The top margin should be at the maximum pressure ratio value.
Maximum pressure ratio – The highest pressure ratio value on the map
Maximum flow (pounds per hour) – The highest flow rate value on the map

Compressor maps must have a minimum (starting) flow rate of 0 and pressure ratio of 1. Both scales must be linear (evenly spaced).
