The Dish / Dome Volume page determines the volume of the piston dish or dome. The following procedure is followed:

Install the piston in the bore with piston rings, using grease to make a watertight seal. Place the piston so the outside edge is a known distance from the top of the block. Then, use a sealing plate and a burette to measure the volume of the cylinder volume just as you measure a cylinder head.
