Statistics

The statistics calculation shows statistical information for any list of numbers that you wish to enter.

To add numbers to the list, touch the plus sign or select Add from the menu. You can enter a single number or a list of numbers separated by spaces.

To delete a number, touch it to select it, and then touch the trash can at the top of the screen or select Delete from the menu.

To delete all numbers from the list, touch the X at the top of the screen or select Clear from the menu.

The following statistical information is provided:

Count – Quantity of numbers in the list

Average – Mean of all values

Median – Midpoint of all values

Minimum – Smallest value in the list

Maximum – Largest value in the list

Range – Difference between the smallest and largest values

Sum – Total of all numbers added together

Sum of squares – Total of all numbers squared and then added together

Deviation – Standardized divergence amount

Population deviation – An alternative deviation calculation

Variance – Total difference from the mean

Product – Value of all numbers multiplied together

Skewness – Advanced statistical value

Kurtosis – Advanced statistical value
