The wing page determines the downforce and drag created by an inverted airfoil based on these inputs:

Wing angle

Wing area

Speed

While the drag coefficient depends only on the angle of the wing, the amount of drag and downforce created also depend on the area of the wing and the speed of the vehicle.

It is assumed that the wing gets clean airflow, and that the wing has adequate vortex plates or fences to prevent air from flowing around the wing. Also, different wing designs can have an effect. The formulas used in this calculation assume an average wing cross-section shape.
