Coefficient of drag, or drag coefficient, is a numerical indicator of resistance to air movement, or resistance to moving through air. It can be measured in a wind tunnel, or calculated by vehicle performance.

You can use the following table for an approximation of your vehicle's drag coefficient.

Best current production sports car 0.25 - 0.30
Best current production sedan 0.28 - 0.32
Modern sports car 0.28 - 0.36
Modern sedan 0.32 - 0.50
Convertible with top down 0.45 - 0.75
Older sports car 0.30 - 0.45
Older muscle car 0.40 - 0.50
Motorcycle with fairing 0.40 - 0.80
Motorcycle 0.60 - 1.20
Open-wheel race car with wings 0.50 - 0.90
Full-bodied race car with wings 0.25 - 0.50
