Deck Height

Start / Terms / Deck Height

The deck height is defined as the distance from the top of the piston (measured from the outside edge of the top of the piston - not including dishes or domes) to the top of the cylinder block when the piston is at top dead center.

If the top of the piston comes exactly to the top of the block, the deck height is zero. If the piston travels beyond the top of the block, enter a negative number indicating this distance.
